This is Bud Hunter.  He is a special part of the field trip for the kids because he not only talks about calling ducks and blows his duck call for them, but he is also "Grandpa" in the story.  This makes him a hero (or maybe kind of a superstar in the kids eyes).  The story is also written about hunting here in Louisa County and even has the cabin in it.
